Workflow guide

A practical operator-friendly explanation of how this automation works.

4 sections

How it works

This workflow turns “we saw a number / heard a thing” into a decision-ready signal check—before the meeting gets confident and wrong. It first tries to answer from your Knowledge Base (so repeat questions don’t keep burning human time), then routes the operator through a short menu of decision-shaped scenarios.

Each scenario returns a practical checklist: what to trust, what to doubt, and what usually breaks first when branches, conversations, and attribution get compared. If the situation is high-risk or politically fragile, the workflow offers a clean handoff to a human reviewer.

Key features

  • Knowledge Base-first responses for common signal and measurement questions
  • Guided menu that routes users into specific, decision-shaped checklists
  • Dedicated paths for dirty data detection, attribution pitfalls, and branch comparisons
  • Clear advice on when to trust automation vs when to require human judgment
  • One-click escalation to a human reviewer via routed fallback

Step-by-step

  1. Trigger: A user starts the workflow.
  2. Knowledge Base check: The workflow attempts to answer using your Calypso Knowledge Base; if it can’t, it continues to guided routing.
  3. Choose the situation: The user selects what they’re trying to decide (e.g., “Which branch numbers can we trust?”).
  4. Receive the checklist: The workflow sends a concise set of checks and common failure modes tailored to the selected scenario.
  5. Escalate when needed: If the user selects “Escalate to human review” (or none of the options fit), the workflow routes the conversation to Data & Insights with a clear handoff note.

Setup requirements

  • Calypso Knowledge Base (optional but recommended): publish your internal definitions (metrics, attribution rules, branch event taxonomy, known data delays).
  • Routing/Departments in Calypso: a department named Data & Insights (or update the workflow to your equivalent).
  • No external credentials are required.
